Silverstone 29&30 May – During the official Porsche Supercup test at Silverstone, Rudy van Buren was given the opportunity to have a first taste of what the cup cars are like. After expressing his goals to compete in the supercup in the near future, the first step to this goal was gaining some important experience about the car. In the two day event various runs were made on different tires / setups / fuel loads to gather as much feeling as possible in these two days.

“ First of all i need to thank Molitor Racing Systems for giving me this chance. Obviously it was the first time for me in a proper racing car in such environment what made it quite overwhelming in the first run to say the least. The plan for the two days has always been to take things step by step, and the progress made over these days was encouraging. We should not forget this is arguably the highest level of cup racing out there, so it was all a steep learning curve. As i said, we took it step by step and gained valuable experience. The results were promising with the limited time we had, and now it’s about taking the right steps to give this another go very soon. “
